Here are some of the ways your donation will benefit my efforts and others along the way: Your donation helps by allowing me to continue with the up-keep of the Drawing Momentum website, blog, and social media pages, to promote the appreciation of art and healing through creativity, to encourage an exchange of ideas, self-expression and the creative process. I created this website through many months of hard work and time, learning and implementing wordpress and other technologies way beyond the scope of my educational background, not only in hopes to show and sell my art, but to reach out to help others who would like to succeed in their own personal creative journeys. I am bravely, although with nervous trepidation galore, entering the world of blogging with my own, Lineamental, in hopes to further inspire and reach out to other creatives… and the glorious people who love and tolerate them. 😉 What’s the point of having a world wide web if it’s not connected, right?. . . It would just be loose strings beating against the wind, weathering like frantic, tethered confetti. . . Where’s the fun in that?! ~ I love making Drawing Momentum.com available to help inspire others on their own creative paths. ♥
Your gift will also go towards the creation of more Drawing Momentum coloring pages, including making it possible for me to donate them to those who need them yet cannot afford them. In addition to all I could create with my current coloring page designs, I also have well over 150 new ideas for coloring pages already ‘in the works’ in varying stages, all waiting for me to complete.
I would love to be able to donate my coloring pages to hospitals, schools and other community organizations that teach or help others to heal or flourish in some way, and your donation can help to make this possible. For now, I will continue to carry a stack of printed coloring pages in my car, so that everywhere I go, I can give them to random people I meet. I love seeing the smiles on their faces and knowing that it brightened someone’s day, giving them something fun to look forward to when they get home. I’ll also continue to share free coloring pages in the comments of random Facebook posts, especially for people who are feeling down, hurting, sick or going through stressful times. My ultimate goal is to have my own art studio, organized with my supplies, furniture, tools and space for me to be able to continue to create in a variety of mediums. Besides my wish to continue making my coloring pages (and eventually publish them in bound editions) and to continue creating my pen drawings on paper (which I would love to be able to frame and show locally), I would also like to have a space and some supplies to begin again to make my hand-bound books, as well as to paint and draw in oils either on canvas or paper. Making custom, one-of-a-kind hand-made books, with hand-sewn bindings and sculptural qualities, have always been a passion for me. Currently, I work in a very small room in our house, and I still use old art supplies from when I was in college in the 90’s. I would need some new supplies for this, like paints, brushes, archival papers, and tools like a metal ruler.
